Lucy smells (and then eats) the pretty flower...

My sister gave her dog a haircut this weekend. I thought it was pretty damn funny.

Here's an updated picture of Lucy that Jason took recently. She'll be 1 yr old in about a month.

Ok, I wasn't going to post this, because, well, Jason always thinks he looks like a dufus in pictures. But since it was requested, here it is!

Ok, well since Jason posted some of the pictures "from the top" - I decided I should post a few of mine. Mostly because I think they look better than his. ;)

Ok, well a picture of my recently cut hair was requested, so here it is. Prepare to be un-wow'd, because it pretty much looks like it did before, but 3 inches shorter. :)



Also, this is a picture of the outside of the house I'm living in. It's in a bit of a hippy neighborhood, but I'm not sure if you can blame the color choices on that fact, because no one else in the neighborhood has electric blue/lime green trim.



This is some sort of flower that I see when I walk to the Metro station, and I was wondering if anyone knew what it was. It's some sort of vining plant with these pretty blue flowers.



And finally, it's the store front for "The Big Bad Woof", which is only two blocks from home and also on the way to the Metro station. It's FULL of doggy toys that Lucy would LOVE! (Too bad she's not here...)

Well, I moved to DC this week. Now I miss my husband and my dog! (Yes, in that order, but it's a close race!)

The place here isn't too bad, I'll take some pictures soon and post them. Looks like I'm going to have a couple of weeks to revise my dissertation while being paid for my new position. No security clearance yet, so I can't get into the building unless my new boss escorts me, and I think he has enough babysitting with the two little kids he has at home, so he told me just to work from home.
